is a dynamic 4-part harmony group that has been featured on local radio and television shows including the popular WBTV Morning Show with John Carter, the syndicated “Bob and Sherri” show, WFAE with Mike Collins, the Grey Seal Puppet’s Studio Series, the Charlotte Singing Christmas Tree, a WTVI Holiday Special, Christmas in Davidson, the Biltmore House in Ashville, NC, and has performed for various charity fund raisers, local churches (including church services and church group dinners), retirement living facilities, nursing homes, wedding receptions, and Christmas parties. They also volunteer to sing in local hospitals during the Christmas season.

Their harmonies are created acapella (without the aid of instrumental backup). They have a versatile repertoire of songs including pop, rock, folk, jazz, swing, barbershop, contemporary Christian, and gospel.

From Reidsville, NC, a graduate of ASU with a BS in Home Economics and a BS in Management Marketing. Has 2 children (cats) and is currently available for marriage! Senior Associate with Merrill Lynch. Loves to sing and travel. Considered the group’s choreographer (can’t stand still). And is the baby of the group.

Stratospheric Soprano

From Charlotte, NC, a graduate of Meredith with a BS in Home Economics. Has 2 children, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 horses, 4 goats, and 1 husband. Is a happy homemaker, world traveler, and constant volunteer designing sets, creating imaginative costumes, planning parties, collecting “bling”, and cooking for a crowd (move over Martha Stewart!).
Karen Mones
Alto 2 (and director)

From IL, FL, NC, a graduate of USF with a BA in Music Education. Plays piano and violin. Arranges and adapts most of the music for the group. A project manager for Wachovia Bank and a mother of one son. Volunteers as a reading mentor for CMS. Working towards her black belt in Tae Kwon Do (don’t mess with the bass)!

From VT, NC, FL, NC. Graduate of Warren Wilson with a BA in Bluegrass (just kidding)...would you believe, English? A classically-trained Bluegrass vocalist... ...anyway, currently working for Allen Tate Realty as a project manager. Has one daughter. Is considered the brains of the group (but she usually can’t remember that!)
